Hinter dem Projekt steht die in Berlin lebende Sängerin, Songwriterin und Sozialarbeiterin Ngoc Anh Nguyen. Aufgewachsen als Tochter vietnamesischer Working-Class-Eltern in einer deutschen Kleinstadt, setzt sie sich in ihrer Musik intensiv mit Fragen von Identität, Zugehörigkeit und dem Leben zwischen zwei Kulturen auseinander. ANOTHER NGUYEN hat ihr Artist-Projekt über Jahre vollständig independent aufgebaut. Mit dem Ziel, ihre Performance als Frontsängerin im Bandkontext weiterzuentwickeln, ihr künstlerisches Profil zu schärfen und sich klarer als Songwriterin zu positionieren, ist die Teilnahme am PopCamp der nächste konsequente Schritt. We are excited to announce the selected act for the PopCamp Nomination 2026: <a href="https://www.anothernguyen.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">ANOTHER NGUYEN</a>. Behind the project is Berlin-based singer, songwriter, and social worker Ngoc Anh Nguyen. Growing up as the daughter of Vietnamese working-class parents in a small German town, her music explores themes of identity, belonging, and living between two cultures. ANOTHER NGUYEN has built her artist project completely independently over the years. With the goal of further developing her performance as a front singer in a band setting, sharpening her artistic profile, and strengthening her position as a songwriter, PopCamp represents the next natural step in her artistic journey.
