FLINTA* Producing Masterclass with Josi Miller

With eight wonderful mentees, the Masterclass initiated by Music Women* Germany and led by Josi Miller marked a special conclusion to the year. Some participants were not based in Berlin, and we supported their travel to ensure they could attend the Masterclass in person. Together, they explored the history of sampling and learned new practical techniques, including creative vinyl sampling.

Josi is a DJ, producer, and host at ARTE, and released her debut album on Grönland Records this year. She guided the workshop with great expertise and passion. For many years, she has shaped the German DJ and producing landscape, combining technical precision with a deep understanding of sampling culture, while consistently advocating for the visibility and empowerment of FLINTA* individuals in the music industry. Her energy and hands-on approach made the Masterclass an exceptional experience.

It was a beautiful end to the year: full of inspiration, new ideas, and shared musical exploration.
