ARTE feature: Music Women* Germany and the Female* Producer Prize

One year after the festive award ceremony of the Female* Producer Prize at Fotografiska Berlin, we are proud to share a special milestone: Music Women* Germany and the Female* Producer Prize were featured in the ARTE Tracks documentary “Producing Germany – The New Stars of the Rap Game.”

The feature highlights a new generation of producers in Germany and powerfully illustrates how FLINTA artists are reshaping and expanding the country’s musical landscape. Among those portrayed are Philo Tsoungui, Yuliana Petkova (Yuki Baebi), and Lia Sahin, whose distinctive artistic voices represent a dynamic shift in music production.

Launched in 2022 in cooperation with Sony Music Germany, the Female Producer Prize* aims to strengthen the visibility and careers of producers while addressing structural barriers within the industry. Being recognized by a major European cultural platform such as ARTE marks a significant moment for our mission toward greater diversity and inclusion in music production.

As we look ahead to the fourth edition of the Female* Producer Prize next week, we would like to thank all applicants and past winners. Their creativity, courage, and commitment continue to drive this initiative forward: shaping the future of music production and paving the way for lasting change.
